Dario Rumbaut was a Cuban exile and poet who attempted to form a humanist movement in Cuba in the 1950’s prior to the revolution. The Cuban Democratic Revolutionary Front (Frente Revolucionario Democratico; FRD) was a consortium of anti-Castro Cuban exiles who sought to overthrow Castro both through propaganda and military action. To the latter end its military wing, Brigade 2506, participated in the Bay of Pigs invasion. Contains a brief history of the revolutionary movement, statement of FRD purpose and refutations of several documents from the “canon” of the revolutionary government, including Castro’s “La Historia Me Absolvera”. A number of comparisons are drawn throughout between Castro, Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin. Tape residue lengthwise on both front and rear wrap, else fine. 7 copies listed in OCLC.
